What excesses will I need to pay? We’ll deduct your excess first and this will apply only once per policy year. A co-payment will then be applied, meaning that you'll pay 10% of the remaining vet fees. Your co-payment applies to all future claims.
Can you pay my vet directly? Yes, so long as your vet agrees to be paid this way. Your chosen excesses will apply.
How long do I have to submit a claim after my pet's treatment? You will have up to 90 days following your pet's treatment to submit your claim or partial claim.
Is there a limit on how many times I can claim? There's no limit, but you will only be able to claim up to your policy limits that you have chosen.
Is there an exclusion or waiting period? Yes - 14 days for illnesses and 5 days for accidents and injuries.
What is usually not covered by pet insurance? There are a few things you won't be able to claim for, including:

Pre-existing conditions – any illness or injury your pet showed signs of, received treatment for, or was given advice about by a vet before your policy started.
Claims during the waiting period – that’s the first 14 days for illnesses and 5 days for accidents or injuries after your cover begins.
Routine or preventative care – such as annual vaccinations, flea, worming and tick treatments, or planned procedures like neutering.
