What dog breeds does Now Pet cover?

Now Pet covers the majority of dog breeds. Certain breeds are excluded from cover, including Akita, American Pit Bull Terrier, Cane Corso, and others listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act or identified as high-risk. Crossbreeds involving excluded breeds are also not eligible. Full breed exclusion details are available during the quote process.

Can I choose my excess amount?

Yes, you can choose between a £99 or £200 excess. Your excess is the amount you pay towards each claim. A higher excess usually lowers your premium, while a lower excess means you pay less when you claim. The excess applies once per condition per policy year. After the excess is deducted, a 10% co-payment is taken from the remaining claim amount.
